MUHAMAT SETIYAWAN AS THE TOP 5 OF
“KARYA KREATIF MUDA INDONESIA”
X-SATA (2/8), on July 28, 2023, Muhamat Setyawan and Friska Noviana Putri, the students of twelfth grade majoring fashion technology represented SMK Negeri 1 Tengaran in the competition “Karya Kreatif Muda Indonesia” held in Jakarta Convention Center Jakarta.
The journey started from June, 2023. SMK Negeri 1 Tengaran chose Muhamat Setyawan and Friska Noviana Putri. Both are the twelfth grader students majoring fashion technology. Since then, they were doing curation selection (design selection), then, taken top ten among four Vocational High Schools, six modelling schools with two candidates from all participants. Setyawan and Friska made to the step of top ten, defeating other candidates.
Finally, here comes the day that everybody’s waiting for. The moment of truth, the announcement of the winner. Everybody’s heartbeat was faster than before waiting for the result. And all praise to Allah, after a long, hard, tiring preparation, Friska Noviana Putri made to the top fifteen. And the next big thing was achieved by Muhamat Setyawan for getting the top five position.
As the reward, he got the scholarship for one-and-a-half-year internship in Susan Budiharjo Design School, Jakarta. Ibu Farida Fahmalatif, as the headmaster, delivering a great appreciation to everybody involved in the achievement. It was a part of everybody’s prayer and the hard work done by the team of fashion technology, she continued. Congratulations for Muhamat Setyawan and Friska Noviana Putri. We are all deeply proud of you.
