(Xsata, January 2026). Entering the new year in 2026, there is a brand-new program for the students. The program called Students Morning Assembly. The format is that a student will deliver a speech made on their own, later on the draft will be checked before being delivered. This program was the great idea coming from our principal, bapak Drs. Santoso, M.M, based on his own experience that mastering English is not only essential for work but also gives higher opportunity to get higher work position.
Bapak Santoso emphasized that having the courage to speak in front of a lot of people is very valuable to improve self confidence and also sending important messages that would be useful for others. He continued that those who dare to deliver the speech will get minimum score 80 for English lesson, encouraging and making sure that all students can do are the basic element for English teachers to do.
The first students who took the challenge was Satria Aditama from XI RPL 1. Fluent, confident and positive content became the first impression after he delivered his speech. He brought a simple but meaningful topic “We can’t control the wind, but we can adjust our sails”. He sent the message that in this new semester all students of Xsata will be better than before, able to face three obstacles, they are fear, laziness and being overly sensitive. Making this semester a momentum, the turning point to become a better version. After delivering the speech, he felt very grateful after given this opportunity and he expected to learn more and more. We are waiting for the next Satria in Students Morning Asembly.
